The 15 Hottest TV Moms

The 15 Hottest TV Moms

The world of television is filled with gorgeous women of all ages, shapes and sizes, playing a variety of interesting roles.
Eventually, women who make it into their 30s move on from the roles of teenagers in soapy high school dramas to female characters in drama and comedy series. And, they’re frequently called upon to play a frequently occurring role – mom.
TV moms are as different from one another as real moms – some are loving yet smothering helicopter parents, some are absent-minded and ridiculously inept at parenting. Some are blonde, some are brunette, some are stay at home moms who run their home, some are strong and powerful career women. The women on this list prove that being a mom doesn’t have to take up your entire identity – they have incredibly complex and interesting storylines that often incorporate their children, but sometimes just focus on the women themselves – and viewers tune in week after week.
Despite their differences, the TV moms on this list have one thing in common – they’re drop dead gorgeous. One thing’s for sure – for whatever reason, there are an unbelievable amount of gorgeous mothers in TV-land, and here are 15 of the hottest.

15. Claire Dunphy

As someone placed alongside the ultra-sexy Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Julie Bowen’s character Claire Dunphy could very easily be overlooked. Sure, she’s beautiful – but she’s a more unassuming type of sexy as opposed to Gloria’s in-your-face curves. However, when it comes to hot TV moms, Claire Dunphy shouldn’t be ignored. She manages to balance the schedules and lives of her three demanding children while going on daily jogs and staying slim and sexy. The show had a running gag in the earlier seasons about Claire’s husband Phil having a slight crush on Gloria, but let’s be honest – he lucked out with this blonde bombshell.

14. Becky Katsopolis

Every girl watching Full House back in the day had a crush on John Stamos’ character Uncle Jesse. He was a musician, he had that great hair, he was handsome – the producers knew it would take a hell of a woman to be Uncle Jesse’s other half, someone who would make sense with him while not alienating all his fan base. Becky Katsopolis, played by actress Lori Laughlin, definitely rose to the occasion. She was a strong woman with her own career who dished out amazing advice on a regular basis, but also – she was one hot mama.

13. Nancy Botwin

When you think of TV moms, many people immediately think back to the 1950s moms who would be waiting for their children after school with a snack and advice. Nancy Botwin on Weeds, played by Mary-Louise Parker, isn’t exactly your typical mom. After her husband passes away, Botwin realizes she needs to help secure her family’s future, and ends up turning to dealing weed. She quickly establishes herself as a big player in the drug game and begins rising through the ranks. Small hints throughout the show about her sexual past and preferences make this mom a little bit scandalous – and a lot sexy.

12. Jenny MacArthur

Some guys dream of a wife who is ladylike, gentle, quiet, and overall prim and proper. And then other guys dream of a wife who will split that plate of greasy fries while watching the football game. Jenny MacArthur is definitely the latter. The League focuses on the friendship between the MacArthurs and the other members of their league, but we do get frequent glimpses at Jenny’s role as a mom as well. She frequently curses, she doesn’t always have fresh home-baked goods for her daughter’s bake sales, but at the end of the day, she’s still a great mom.

11. Alicia Florrick

Okay, so there’s no doubt that Julianna Margulies is absolutely gorgeous, something that adds to her character’s hot mom factor. However, let’s look at her character. Alicia Florrick sacrifices years of her career to be the best stay at home mom and politician’s wife she can while her husband reaches all his political career goals on The Good Wife. Then, scandal breaks out and she figures out he isn’t quite the man she thought he was. Does she wallow in self-pity and drown her sorrows in Ben & Jerry’s? No – she steps up, steps back into the office, and becomes a kick ass working mom who looks incredible in her office wear.

10. Riley Parks

Not familiar with Jennifer Love Hewitt’s short-lived television series The Client List? Well, we don’t blame you – it wasn’t exactly the cream of the television crop. The series was based on a Lifetime movie, also starring Hewitt. Let’s just take a look at the evidence though. Hewitt is pretty drop dead gorgeous in any role she takes, but in this show, she plays a massage therapist who quickly learns that the only way to make money supporting her family is to give…well… ‘extras.’ I mean, look at her – no one would doubt that someone who looks like that could command a pretty sizeable client list.

9. Niki Sanders

Ali Larter’s character Niki Sanders made a splash on the hit television series Heroes for several reasons. First, her character was just plain bizarre – when she switched over to her alter ego, Jessica, she was able to muster super human strength and absolutely destroy anything in her path. However, fans also loved her for a simple reason – she was gorgeous. Sanders’ career on the show was an internet stripper, and Larter would often show a little bit of Niki’s workday while dressed in skimpy lingerie. Not really your typical TV mom.

8. Tami Taylor

Tami Taylor is one of the best (and hottest) mamas that has ever graced the small screen with her performance on Friday Night Lights. Why? Well, first of all, she has the hair of a Greek goddess. She has the best southern twang you’ve ever heard. She somehow always manages to dish up the best advice, whether it be to her own daughter or the many kids she interacts with as a school guidance counsellor. Plus, she and Coach Taylor have one of the most real, adorable relationships to ever grace the screen. Come on, y’all, admit it – she is one hot mama.

7. Julie Cooper

On the beloved teen series The O.C., most of the focus was placed on the core group of young Californian high schoolers – Seth, Ryan, Summer, and Marissa. However, given their age, the show included some interactions with the teens’ parents – and there was one mom in particular who stood out. That’s right – Mrs. Julie Cooper. She provided a fair bit of comic relief, but also a lot of drama. Plus, she literally had a Mrs. Robinson thing going on in the story arc where she slept with her daughter’s ex boyfriend, a high school student at the time.

6. Gabrielle Solis

When it comes to a list of the hottest TV moms of all time, you absolutely cannot leave out this spicy mama. Gabrielle Solis, played by brunette bombshell Eva Longoria, was the youngest of the housewives on hit series Desperate Housewives, and without doubt the hottest thing to hit Wisteria Lane. Sure, she wasn’t always the best mother, often preferring a little grooming and pampering rather than spending time with the kids, but there was no one hotter. Though she was often difficult, men put up with her because… come on, wouldn’t you? But, I mean, what would you expect from a former model?

5. Charlotte York Goldenblatt

via biography.com
Charlotte wasn’t the first woman on Sex and the City to enter into motherhood (that distinction goes to the redheaded Miranda) but she is definitely the hottest. Charlotte York had one unhappy marriage before tying the knot with Harry Goldenblatt and converting to Judaism for their nuptials. On the show, the couple went through fertility issues before having two daughters. And through it all, Charlotte maintained her enviable figure and transformed from a prim and proper Park Avenue princess to a definite hot mom. Sure, Carrie had the best wardrobe, but let’s be honest – Charlotte was probably the most classically beautiful of the bunch.

4. Rachel Green

via theodysseyonline.com
Rachel Green’s pregnancy storyline on the hit sitcom Friends was insane – after years of on-again, off-again drama, one night with Ross and little baby Emma was produced. Jennifer Aniston did a phenomenal job bringing humor and heart to Rachel’s pregnancy, and was equally superb in her portrayal of all the drama of early motherhood. This fashionista seemed the least motherly of the group, the type of woman who cared more about her Chanel than a child, but in the end she was a great TV mom – and, let’s not forget, a super sexy one. The one question we still have, over a decade after the Friends finale, is how on earth Ross managed to snag her!

3. Lorelai Gilmore

via fanpop.com
Lorelai Gilmore became a mom at an incredible early age, when she was still in her teens, and she moved from a cushy life in Hartford, Connecticut to the small town of Stars Hollow, where she started building a new life with her baby daughter. When Gilmore Girls starts, Lorelai is a young, sexy mom in her 30s with a teenage daughter. She’s witty, she’s beautiful, she’s intelligent, and her frequent man drama was a little bit ridiculous, because honestly – if you had a woman like Lorelai in your life, you would never let her go.

2. Gloria Delgado-Pritchett

via pcwallart.com
Okay, it’s no secret that Modern Family’s resident sex kitten Gloria Delgado-Pritchett would make any list of the hottest TV moms – just look at her! First of all, Sofia Vergara’s natural curves definitely contribute to her look. However, the producers on the show don’t shy away from playing up her assets, and on the show, Vergara is almost always wearing figure-hugging dresses and tops, painted-on jeans, and sky high heels. If you’ve got it, flaunt it, right? Add to that her slightly exaggerated accent and Latina spice, and you’ve got one hot TV mama.

1. Betty Draper

via coztume.com
When you think of a mom, you generally think of someone who is maternal, warm and loving, always ready with a plate of freshly baked cookies and a hug. That’s basically the opposite of Betty Draper, a character played by January Jones on Mad Men. Sure, Betty has children, but she never appeared to be the most attentive or loving parent. However, her icy personality is accompanied by some stone cold good looks. The 1960s look takes a little getting used to, but there’s no doubt that the former Mrs. Draper is one of the hottest moms to grace the small screen.
