Biography of Phyno

Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike , famous with the stage name Phyno was born on October 9, 1986 at Enugu State, Nigeria. The rapper grew up in Enugu state and graduated from Institute of Management and Technology(IMT) where he obtained a certificate in Public Administration . Phyno's dream was to be a prominent producer but the reward of the job in terms of pay wasn’t satisfactory to him which made him to be unsatisfied at that time . The producer was never satisfied being a producer which made him to try his talent on the other side of the booth by rapping,  thanks to his close pals that gave him piece of advise that made him put his rapping skills to play ; IlBliss , Mi ,Nigga Raw and others that he has been producing for because they saw that rapping flair in him .
The incentric rapper has once revealed that his stage name Phyno was coined out of the word “phenomenal” when he was still in high school because his class mates use to call him that , when his musical career kicked started he cast his mind back to when he was in school and decided to use the word Phyno as his name which he extracted from his nick name phenomenal .
Take it or leave it Phyno need little or no introduction right now because he has been able to brand him self high in the music industry and set a pace for other rappers to follow . He didn’t copy any rapper when he was coming out , he does his thing his own way and he raps in Igbo language bringing his hometown, tribe alive because he is known for rapping in Igbo language and that is why he is so unique . Sometimes he blends a little bit of Pidgin ,Good Eglish and Igbo to make good lines in his lerics and ever sice this rapper came out Nigeria Hip Hop has never been this good and sweet .
Phyno’s Gods given talent at his tender age was playing drums and piano , he was known for this talents during his secondary school days but his musical career as a producer kick off in the year 2013 and started rapping in 2010 but became popular after releasing his hit single Multiply where he featured alot of stars including Timaya and M I Abaga .
It was noted that Phyno has worked with other stars and they include Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Ruggedman, Flavour, Timaya just to mention a few .

Phyno was made Guiness Nigeria’s ambassador In August 2014, alongside with Olamide and Eva Alordiah.
Phyno once won the Best Collabo at both the 2012 The Headies Awards and 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards with his song where he featured Olamide Bado “Ghost Mode” . Phyno taotal nomination is 15 and he has pocketed 4 Awards at several Award events that include City People Entertainment Awards , Channel O Music Video Award , Nigeria Entertainment Awards ,Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA And The Headies .

In 2014 also the rapper was accused of having a Homo s3xual relationship with his pal in the same musical hustle , Limpopo master Kcee and the rapper debunked the news and he saidd it was a camera angle because there was this photo that gone viral , in the photo it was as if they were kissing in the club .
