The 10 Highest-Earning Siblings In Hollywood

The 10 Highest-Earning Siblings In Hollywood

Showbiz tends to run in the family. That’s why so many children of famous actors and singers follow in their parents footsteps and pursue a career in Hollywood.
Granted, they probably have an advantage over the people who come from nowhere, because they have the contacts, and can ask for advice from their famous family. Also an interest in creative things like music and acting might be passed down from previous generations, and it’s only natural that siblings might be into some of the same things.
Sibling rivalry is something anyone with a brother or sister has experienced at some point. It’s even worse if siblings are in the same industry and in direct competition with one another. Still, they’re family, and there’s no reason why they can’t both be successful. To prove it, here are some of the top earning siblings in Hollywood.

10. Oliver & Kate Hudson – $50 Million

Goldie Hawn‘s two children with her second husband Bill Hudson, both grew up to be not only gorgeous, but successful actors. Kate Hudson is known for her Golden Globe-winning role in Almost Famous, as well as parts in a variety of popular romantic comedies, such as How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days. She also founded her own fitness wear and membership company called Fabletics. Oliver Hudson is known for TV roles in Dawson’s Creek, Rules of Engagement, and as a series regular on Ryan Murphy‘s new show Scream Queens. Together, they’re worth close to $50 million, and that’s not counting the rest of their famous family’s money.

9. The Baldwin brothers – $80 Million

Above, from left to right, Billy, Stephen, Alec, and Daniel Baldwin have all been involved in show business at some point. Alec is known for his film roles and his multiple award winning role in 30 Rock and has a net worth of $65 million. His brothers Billy and Stephen have both been in numerous films, while Daniel is best known for his role on NBC’s Homicide: Life on the Street. Although all four brothers became actors, their parents were a high school teacher and a football coach. They also have two sisters who steered clear of show business.

8. Ben & Casey Affleck – $80 Million

With his Oscars, his directorial skills, and his writing chops, Ben Affleck is by far the more successful Affleck brother. He’s appearing as Batman in the upcoming Batman v. Superman, and he’ll probably play the role in at least one more film. But he’s helped his little brother Casey along the way too. Casey had a role in Ben’s Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting, and his critically-acclaimed directorial debut, Gone Baby Gone. While Ben is worth close to $75 million, with his net worth only set to grow in the coming years, Casey is doing pretty well too with a net worth of $5 million.

7. Owen & Luke Wilson – $90 Million

Owen Wilson is known for his roles in hit comedies like Zoolander and Wedding Crashers, and Luke Wilson has some hits under his belt too with Old School, and more of cult favorite, Idiocracy. Owen also has a few writing credits (including an Oscar nod for The Royal Tenenbaums) and his partnerships with A-listers like Ben Stiller and Wes Anderson have helped him grow his net worth the around $60 million. Luke’s net worth is about half that thanks to his comedic chops and appeal as a romantic lead.

6. Paris & Nicky Hilton – $120 Million

Paris and Nicky Hilton were lucky to be born rich thanks to their great-grandfather Conrad Hilton‘s hotel fortune. But they’ve both leveraged that into creative ways of making their own money. Paris is known for being a “career heiress” meaning she uses her status to charge for club appearances, and she even managed to get her own reality show (The Simple Life, with Nicole Richie). No one is likely to forget her attempt at a music career either, and now she charges around $350,000 for a DJ appearance. Nicky is a fashion designer, has worked as a model, and has opened two of her own hotels. Not counting their inheritances, the Hilton sisters have a combined net worth of over $100 million.

5. The Kardashians – $120 Million

The Kardashians are probably the richest siblings thanks to their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spin-offs, and their seemingly endless business endeavors. Kim comes out on top because of her app, her book of selfies, and her high-profile relationship with Kanye West. But Kourtney and Khloe aren’t far behind. They’re all involved in the fashion and beauty industry, and they released a book called Kardashian Konfidential in 2011. The entire family splits $10 million per season of the show, but when it finally airs its last episode, they’ll all be established in their side businesses to keep living the good life.

4. Jessica & Ashlee Simpson – $158 Million

Jessica Simpson might have played the dumb blond card, but if you take her bank balance into consideration, it’s pretty obvious that she’s far from stupid. Thanks to her music career, and her numerous fashion and beauty business endeavors, her name is synonymous with a multi-million empire. Ashlee had moderate success with her own music career and reality show as well. She also appeared in the Broadway production of Chicago as Roxie Hart. She’s also been involved with some of Jessica’s businesses. Although Jessica is worth significantly more than Ashlee, together they’re still considered two or the richest sisters in Hollywood.

3. Beyonce & Solange Knowles – $220 Million

Forbes named Beyonce the most powerful female in music in 2015, which is no small feat. The surprise self-titled album she released on iTunes at the end of 2013 has been certified double Platinum in the U.S and sold almost a million copies worldwide in the first three days, making it the fastest selling album in the history of the iTunes store. Thanks to her album and co-headlining tour with Jay-Z, she made $115 million in 2014. That’s pretty hard to touch, but her younger sister Solange has done pretty well for herself in the music business as well, and could be considered extremely successful if only she wasn’t always being compared to Queen Bey.

2. Mark & Donnie Wahlberg – $245 Million

Mark and Donnie Wahlberg both got their starts in the music business. Donnie was a member of New Kids on the Block and Mark released his own music with his group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Donnie has continued to act and currently stars in Blue Bloods and his own reality show with wife Jenny McCarthy. But Mark went on to act in huge blockbuster action movies like The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes, and The Departed. He’s also an executive producer on hit HBO shows Entourage (which was loosely based on his Hollywood experience) and Boardwalk Empire. Mark and Donnie, and their brother Paul also own a chain burger restaurant called Wahlburgers.

1. Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen – $330 Million

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen might not really be considered “Hollywood” anymore since they’ve been focusing all their energy on their business empire for awhile now. But they got their start in acting, which is what allowed them to launch their company Dualstar Entertainment. The company made them millionaires at a young age, and then the twins moved into the fashion industry with their couture label The Row. They were named Womenswear Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2015, and their net worth is close to $300 million.
